Описаны 19 видов, 3 подвида и 1 декоративная форма агавы (Agave L.), интродуцированные в Крым из высокогорных районов Северной и Центральной Америки. Приведены данные по их первичному интродукционному испытанию в условиях защищённого (Севастополь) и открытого грунта (Южный берег Крыма). Даны практические рекомендации по культивированию новых видов и разновидностей агавы в Крыму.

In terms of the research 19 agave species, 3 subspecies and 1 ornamental form, introduced on the Crimea from high altitude regions of North and Central America, were described. The article presents data of their initial introduction testing under conditions of protected ground (Sevastopol) and open ground (South Coast of the Crimea). It contains practical recommendations for cultivation of new agave species and varieties on the Crimean peninsula.
